| The Brightcove Video Extraction Tool Is Now Available |

We're sending you this email to remind you that the Brightcove Network and Standard Preview services (the free versions of our service) will be discontinued on December 17, 2008, and to give you some important information about the free video extraction tool that we have made available for you.
On December 17, 2008, we will be shutting down all Brightcove Network and Standard Preview accounts that have not been upgraded to paid Brightcove platform accounts. Until then, your account will remain fully functional; the players that you have published will continue to operate; and you can keep using the Brightcove Console as you have been using it to date. Please see the Network and
Standard Preview frequently asked questions (FAQ) for details about this transition. We have also granted you access to a free trial of Brightcove 3. Just sign-in
using your existing username and password to evaluate the service and try out these valuable new features:

- Faster user interface and rapid-loading players
- Web services API's for greater flexibility
- Dynamic Delivery to optimize your user experience
- Integration with Tremor's Acudeo video monetization platform

If you would like to download the content from your account, we have made the Video Extraction Tool accessible for you on our site

The Video Extraction Tool is a free application that allows you, as a Brightcove Network or Standard Preview customer, to extract your videos and metadata from Brightcove and save these assets in a simple XML format to your local hard drive. The tool will be accessible through December 17, 2008, to coincide with the discontinuation of the free versions of our service. For more information, visit the
